What this website is

Moments Worth Cake is a discovery and enquiry platform for cake makers, cake designers and dessert artists across Australia. It helps you describe a celebration once and put that description in front of professionals who may be able to make what you want.

We are not a bakery, a cake shop or an online store. We do not make, sell, price, deliver or store cake, we take no payment for cake, and we hold no deposits.

The cake professionals are independent

Every cake maker, cake designer and dessert artist who responds to a brief is an independent business. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and we do not control them.

Each of them sets their own prices, lead times, service areas, ingredients, food handling practices, deposit and cancellation terms, and their own contract with you. Any agreement you reach is between you and that professional. We are not a party to it.

We do not verify, endorse, rank or guarantee any professional who responds to you, and no response is a recommendation from us. Deciding who to engage, and on what terms, is your decision. We encourage you to ask about licensing, food safety, insurance, allergens and terms before you book, exactly as you would with any supplier.

Sending a brief

Sending a cake brief is free, and it does not commit you to anything. It is a request for information, not a booking, an order or an offer to enter a contract.

Moments Worth Cake partners with My Event Match to process your cake request and connect it with suitable cake professionals in your area. By submitting your brief, your event details will be sent through My Event Match so relevant professionals can review the request and respond. There is no obligation to book.

We do not promise that you will receive a response, that you will receive any particular number of responses, or that a professional will be available for your date, your area, your budget or your design. Availability depends on the professionals themselves.

When you send a brief you agree that the information in it is accurate, that you are entitled to provide it, and that you are arranging a genuine celebration rather than testing, scraping or misusing the service.

Prices, quotes and payment

Any figure a professional gives you is their quote, not ours. Quotes are based on what you described, so changing the servings, the date, the design or the delivery can change the price.

You pay the professional directly, on their terms. Deposits, balances, change windows, cancellation policies and refunds are theirs to set and theirs to honour.

Using the site properly

You agree not to:

use the site for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent;
submit a brief on behalf of somebody who has not asked you to;
harvest, scrape or copy content, contact details or listings from the site;
interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or introduce anything harmful to it;
use the site to advertise, solicit or send unsolicited commercial messages.

We may restrict or withdraw access to the site where these terms are not being followed.

Content on this website

The text, design, layout, graphics and brand elements on this website belong to Moments Worth Cake or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish or adapt them commercially without written permission.

Photography on this website is used to illustrate cake styles and celebrations. It does not represent the work of any particular cake maker, supplier, customer or venue unless a page says so explicitly.

Anything you submit in a brief remains yours. By submitting it, you give us permission to use it for the purpose of connecting your request with cake professionals, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

The guides on this website, including serving guidance, booking timelines and style explanations, are general information to help you brief a cake maker. They are not advice about your specific cake. Servings, lead times and prices vary between professionals, and the professional you engage is the one who can confirm what applies to your order.

We do not provide dietary, allergen or medical advice. If someone at your celebration has an allergy or intolerance, raise it directly with the cake maker and confirm how they handle it.
